Nancy gets a big NO!

In the latest Talk Business-Hendrix College Poll, 66% of Arkansans say they would not vote for the proposed casino amendment being pushed by professional poker player Nancy Todd. Only 28% said they were in favor of the casino measure, with just 6% undecided.

Q: A proposal related to casino gambling in Arkansas may also be on the ballot. The proposal would allow Nancy Todd’s Poker Palace the right to establish casinos in four Arkansas counties.  If the election were today, would you vote for this casino gambling proposal?
28%     Yes
66%     No
6%       Don’t Know

“An overwhelming majority of Arkansans oppose the proposal, still not on the November ballot, to create privately-owned casinos in Arkansas,” said Dr. Jay Barth, professor of political science at Hendrix College.

Who is Jake Witmer and why did he split?

A guy named Jake Witmer was hired recently by Nancy Todd to walk among us and collect petitions for her cockamamie casino scheme.

He's one of the 'BIG GUNS' Ms. Todd brought in to slick talk us country bumpkins into making her rich.  (Witmer's also said to be working with Nancy's team on the Pro-Pot Petition)

So who is this dude?

Jake Witmer is a Libertarian activist from Illinois.  Kind of an anti government "black helicopter" guy, a professed atheist, pro-marijuana crusader who does petition work from time-to-time.  He ran for Congress in Illinois in 2004 - got 4% of the vote.

Well, word is ole Jake split the state this weekend leaving his Arkansas troops unpaid and holding bills.

More proof this is all a scam and just one more reason not to trust these folks when they call your home or come to your door.

Who is Dianne Dalton?

So who is the person running the Nancy Todd gambling petition scam?

Who are these people telling us what's best for Arkansas?  What are their intentions?

Lets start with Dianne Dalton.  Dianne Dalton is an officer in "ARKANSAS COUNTS" -- the gambling petition drive that will add more people to the welfare rolls in Arkansas

In fact Ms. Dalton is the General Manger of the effort.

If you want a job "collecting" signatures for the scam you are asked to call Dianne Dalton.

So who is Dianne Dalton?

Is this the same Dianne Dalton that:
  • Filed for Bankruptcy in Little Rock in 1995 and again in 1998?
  • Had an arrest warrant issued against her for writing bad checks in Hot Springs in 2011?
  • Had at least 5 Federal Tax Liens filed against her between 2001 and 2011?
  • Has been sued in Arkansas by creditors at least 7 times?
  • Whose Income was sought for Garnishment in 2007?

Is it possible that this is the same person running "Arkansas Counts"?

Do we really trust these people to create jobs?  Is this really where we want to invest in our state's future?  And where is the Arkansas press on all this?

Wake up Arkansas, we're being scammed!

This is just scratching the surface.  There's much more to come . . .

It's On!

COMMUNITY LEADERS, LAW ENFORCEMENT, AND ELECTED OFFICIALS COME TOGETHER TO OPPOSE LAS VEGAS-STYLE CASINOS IN ARKANSAS
LITTLE ROCK, AR – A diverse group of community leaders, law enforcement officers, and elected officials from around the state gathered at the State Capitol Thursday to announce the creation of Stop Casinos Now!, a committee to oppose ballot initiatives to bring Las Vegas – style casinos to Arkansas.
“We’ve seen what happens when these full-scale casinos come to town – you get increased crime, higher unemployment, and more families going bankrupt,” said Chuck Lange, the committee chairman and former executive director of the Arkansas Sheriffs’ Association.  “Nancy Todd is a Las Vegas insider, trying to come in and tell Arkansans what’s best for our state, so she can make a profit at our expense; we’ve got to stop her initiative. We want folks to be aware if they are asked to sign a petition, they need to think twice.  It’s going to take all of us working together to protect our communities and our families,” said Lange.
“Big casinos are a nightmare for the men and women out there working hard to keep our neighborhoods safe,” said Doc Holladay, Sheriff of Pulaski County, one of the locations where Todd proposes to authorize a casino.  “It has been shown that these casinos cause an increase in serious crime within the first few years of opening.  I say keep it in Vegas - we don’t want that in our backyard,” Holladay said.
Several state legislators have also joined the effort to stop this measure from reaching the ballot.  “This is bad policy, and it’s bad precedent,” said Rep. Prissy Hickerson (R-Texarkana).  “This initiative would not only change our state’s constitution, it would establish an unregulated casino industry that answers to no one. Setting something like this up with no oversight would be a gamble with our state’s future, and I think the stakes are too high for that,” said Hickerson.
“As a pastor, I believe these casinos will have a harmful impact on countless Arkansas families,” said Bishop Sam Wherry, Monticello.   “They prey on the poor, and as a religious leader, I’ve seen firsthand the destructive emotional and financial burden the addiction can have on individuals, their spouses, and their children,” said Wherry.

The Bulldogs are coming, the Bulldogs are coming

The German turns to Georgia to bring Vegas to Arkansas

Word is that the Vegas Casino syndicates have hired a Bulldog political firm to come in to Razorback Country to mark their territory

German born politico Nancy Todd - the Vegas point person here in Arkansas - has hired The Brushfire Group from Duluth, Georgia to knock on your door here and con you into signing a pro-casino petition that will lead to more crime and welfare here in Arkansas.  (Seems Arkansans weren't good enough to work for the self styled "Queen of Diamonds")

To give you some perspective - Brushfire Group is located exactly only 50 miles from Sanford Stadium in Athens -- and 724 miles from Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville

Whose side are you on Razorbacks?

HERE THEY COME

This time they are attacking our state from the west . . .

Nevada gamblers have hired a German born political hack and are moving in on Arkansas with plan to hijack our state constitution for their own greed and pleasure.

They want to expand Gambling in Arkansas and  we are hearing they are scheming to buy votes and politicians in order get their way.

Our state and our people are at great risk

These “Sin City” syndicates will prey on vulnerable Arkansans, suck money out of our state and change Arkansas FOREVER.  THEY MUST BE STOPPED.

Their gambling plans will leave more people on welfare, more people in our prisons and more families broken . . .NO THANK YOU! . .

When they come knocking on your door, tell them to take their crime and corruption back to Vegas and Atlantic City. We have enough problems in Arkansas without having to take on theirs
